Description
In medias res is a Latin phrase meaning “into the middle of things”; it is a form of narrative device in which the story opens in the middle of the plot rather than at the chronological beginning. It’s also the name (and the theme) of my newest poetry collection. In Medias Res features 53 poems (one for every week plus an extra to get a jump on the next year) and full-color photographs, both by yours truly.
