writer’s block

the people living in

my head want

to come out and

live

in reality

only i can’t

get them

out

they’re crystal clear yet

fuzzy

round the edges

like trying to read a

book in a

dream

i can’t quite

make out the

words

and here too

that seems to

be the

problem

is she young

or is she old

does he love or

does he hate

her

and how does she

feel

how much can i

base

on reality and

how much

is really

truly

them

my camel-shaped

fancy

stubbornly refuses to

slip lithely through the

needle eye of my

pen

Standard

  1. WhoreChurch says:

This may make sense to you: The voices in my head are so soft I can’t hear them, so loud I can’t think.

    That’s writing for me.

Excellent and violently emotional thoughts. Thanks.
