i found this delightful music video for mumford & sons’ “the cave” today thanks to relevant magazine. i love almost every song on “sigh no more,” mumford & sons‘ album that came out last year (except for the somewhat unfortunate “little lion man”), and especially this one … but some parts of it confused me, to say the least.
this video clears it up a bit. (also, here’s a bit about plato’s allegory of the cave. don’t know if it’s necessarily related, but i could see some parallels.
