i feel like something’s wrong

maybe it’s just my perspective

but some things are definitely

out of focus.

what’s wrong with this lense

of mine that it keeps getting

smudged?

how annoying.

life was colorful as dawn

but now it sadly

seems desaturated.

perhaps i’m being selfish.

or do you see it, too?

or not see it, that is —

this smudge, this haze,

this ghost that won’t

be caught on camera.
