wonder

i stepped outside tonight to drive home from a coffee house, and the sky was black and full of stars. the moon was shining bright and venus (or jupiter) was dazzling. i sighted orion and other friends in the heavens.

and i thought, God walks among the stars. He knows the names of each and every one of them. i had a glimpse of someone walking through dust motes caught in a shaft of light.

God is so much more than anything else that the biggest star in existence is smaller than a speck of dust to Him. but He knows where all the specks of dust are, too.
