nope! i was driving and it popped into my head, so i wrote it down in my notebook in terribly squiggly handwriting so i wouldn’t forget it. i don’t remember what sparked it, either. i think i was playing with phrases.

i think i was thinking initially of people who shy away from doing hard things because they don’t like the difficulty and the pain.
