if i believe in a God omniscient
then i must trust God knew this from before the beginning
if i believe in a God omnipotent
then i must trust God’s is the hand that guides
if i believe in a God omnibenevolent
then i must trust God’s love is something rich and strange
if i believe in a God omnipresent
then i must trust God is closer than every aching hour
if i believe in a God self-existent
then i must trust God has no need of me
but if i believe in a God Who loves me past the point of death
then i must trust that even in this He is weaving resurrection
