About Amelia

I'm an editrix, a writer, a poet, a photographer, and a wielder of butter. I love Jesus because He loved me first.

Snapshots

And in our kingdom by the sea We’ll have buttered toast and strong black tea If the weather’s fair we’ll take a ride On the ferry to Scotland and watch the tide Go in and out on a foreign shore. If the weather’s foul we’ll cozy up With maps and books an another cup Of strong back tea. And if the winds rage and the tempests blow, If your face fades when the light gets low; If there’s never such a thing as a you and a me I’ll always find myself in the sea; In the Kingdom by the Sea.
More snows this winter than I can hold in my memory of recent years. Yet March starts next week. Chin up! Spring is coming. What a blessed thing it is that spring will always follow winter, to the end of the world. (And perhaps beyond?)
I’ve forgotten which snow this is — six? Seven?
