there shouldn’t have been a person on that side of the meadow, disturbing the green of sun-dappled trees shot with shadows

so loud and obscene the vision of the large woman clad in aqua moving from left to right across the serene portrait of a summer’s day

the screaming color was out of harmony with the whispering gray squirrels and rabbits
