i didn’t realize until tonight, when slicing and shimmering my way through a lake’s sun-warmed and cool spots during a friend’s birthday celebration, how much i missed swimming.
two hot air balloons flew overhead while we were in the water, which was an unexpected delight. then, at dusk, i could see the bats flickering and darting across the sky. the moon came out, faintly, then got bigger and brighter and more orange as it rose through the sky. stars came out, and planets, and i wished it were not hazy humid so as to see them in their full glory.
how beautiful. how like Him.
